Luke 6:37,38 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
We are not to judge others, but rather love them and find a way we can help them. When we don't judge others, God will not judge us. We are to treat others the way we want others to treat us. Are sins have been judged in Jesus. When Jesus went to the cross, He paid for all our sins. The person we are tempted to judge, can be brought to the cross, where Jesus died for them. Jesus died to redeem all mankind to God. So also we are not to condemn others, and we will not be condemned. Jesus died for us all so we would not be condemned. Jesus took our sins, and gave us His righteousness, so we all would be forgive, and not condemned. Instead of condemning, let's love with the love of Jesus, and lead them to the cross.
Jesus said to us, Forgive, and you shall be forgiven. Seeing how Jesus died for our forgiveness, and He lives within us, He will love others through us, and forgive them. The character of Jesus is to forgive. Love forgives. If we do not forgive, we will not be forgiven. When Jesus taught us to pray, the prayer includes, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. We should forgive quickly, then we will be forgiven quickly. And we need to let the love of God flow through us.
When we give, the word tells us It shall be given unto us. That's a win win situation. We are helping the one we give to, and we will receive also, we have God's word on it. A blessing that occurs when we give, is that Jesus looks at it as though we are giving to Him. Jesus says to us, Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.
Father we pray that we will not judge or condemn, and that we will forgive and give. In Jesus name we pray.
