2 Cor. 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Our Precious Lord provides all we need, to do every good work. The Word tells us to Be slow to speak, and quick to listen. When we jump forward ahead of God in a situation, that's when we speak hurtful, sinful words, that tear down and don't build up. But when the situation arises, and we can be slow to speak, and quick to listen, we give Jesus the oportunity to speak to us what He wants said, and what He wants to do. Then the work of Jesus' love of building up, and drawing closer can come forth, if we flow with Him. In our flesh, we would want revenge, but in the Spirit, Jesus wants to love them into the Kingdom. So then our place is to forgive them, and let the love of Jesus flow through us. When in the situation, we may find it hard to see God's way, but as this scripture tells us, God will provide all we need to abound to every good work.
Jesus has sent us the promised Holy Spirit to live within us, and to equipt, or empower us for life and service. The fruit of the Spirit is lived through us, the temples of the Holy Spirit. We no longer are our own, but we belong to God, for He has purchased us with the precious blood of Christ, and our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. He is always with us, and He is always for us, and gives us all we need to walk with Jesus here now, and do what Jesus does, and say what Jesus says. Jesus walks in love, for God is love, and so we walk in love for we walk in Christ, and the Spirit. All we need is available to live the Christian life. A life of loving as Jesus loved, and still loves, even through us.
Father we pray to walk in love, in Jesus, and in the Spirit, and to be slow to speak, and quick to listen. We pray to do and say what Jesus does and says through us. In Jesus name we pray.
